Mesker Park Zoo

There isn't a more enchanting destination in Greater Evansville than Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden. Located on 45-scenic acres on Evansville’s northwest side, it's home to over 700 animals from all over the world. At Indiana's first zoo, you can walk the plains of Africa, travel to the Amazon Rainforest, or marvel at Mechi, the Asian rhino.

The zoo was founded in 1928 and is located in Mesker Park on Evansville's northwest side. It is accredited by the Association of National Zoos and Aquariums and is maintained by the City of Evansville.
