Over 7,000 people work at Toyota Motor Manufacturing's Princeton plant, just 25 miles north from the heart of Evansville. It's one of ten plants throughout the U.S. and the largest employer in the Greater Evansville area. More than 400,000 vehicles are assembled each year. To make it all possible, Toyota has already invested over $4.9 billion in our region. In January 2020, the company announced an additional $700 million investment and 150 new jobs by the end of 2022.
