Introducing Youngsters to Technology – The Bits and Bytes Computer Club is led by Debbie Calhoun and Monica Patterson. They both work in IT at OneMain Financial. Bits and Bytes Computer Club currently sits under the Memorial Community Development Corporation umbrella and has been in existence for almost 2 years. Our focus is to help guide our youngsters to not only be consumers of technology but also doers. We work with robots from the Sphero Company.  We are also starting to introduce Google CS First and have worked with Bloxels. For the younger ones, we use age-appropriate STEM learning tools.

2nd and 4th Saturday of the Month – The club is open and welcome to all youngsters in grade K-12. We meet the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from 9:30am – 11:30am at Central Library in downtown Evansville, IN. Follow their Facebook page for meeting updates and rare cancellations.
